ServiceNow Developer - Custom Application

Exp level - 3+ to 8 years

Job location- Coimbatore / Hyderabad / Remote

Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow custom applications and solutions based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand application needs and translate them into effective ServiceNow configurations.
• Implement and configure ServiceNow modules, workflows, and UI components to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using REST APIs, web services, and scripting languages (JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.).
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure application stability and performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, deployment guides, and user manuals.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow custom applications, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, features, and best practices.

Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience developing custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow development tools and technologies, including ServiceNow Studio, Scripting APIs, and integration methods.
• Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript.
• Experience with ServiceNow UI Policies, UI Actions, Business Rules, and Client Scripts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is preferred.
