The Opportunity

Sattva is seeking a consultant with expertise in technology and climate to lead the development of a Climate Physical Risk Assessment Tool for India. This tool aims to assist government authorities, state municipalities, and private players in planning investments for adaptation projects, enhancing infrastructure and business model resilience against climate risks.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic consulting professional and strategic thinker with over 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in the climate domain, focusing on modelling, data, and collaboration with national/state governments on climate challenges. A doctoral degree is preferred. The role is based in Delhi and requires working from government premises.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading the design, development, and strategy for the tool, including its technology architecture and user adoption framework.

Ensuring alignment with global best practices in climate risk assessment and resilience planning.

Collaborating with senior stakeholders from government, industry, corporates, and academia to co-create solutions and guide tool development.
