About Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Mid Central, we are currently undertaking an exciting project – the Surgical Procedural Interventional Recovery Expansion (SPIRE). This ambitious project involves establishing a new cardiac catheterisation lab and expanding our team.
About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Interventional Cardiologist to contribute to the growth of Cardiology services, up to and including the establishment of a local interventional service. This role is part of a Regional Cardiac Strategy and enjoys support from both Mid Central and its regional partners.
The ideal candidate will have proven clinical experience and a demonstrated understanding of departmental development, as well as strong clinical governance skills. Additionally, experience in delivering an interventional service from inception and working in a rural setting is highly desirable.
