This role plays a crucial part in supporting the administration and management of government contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations, company policies, and client requirements. We seek a skilled Candidate to fill this critical position.
The ideal candidate must possess excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, combined with a deep understanding of government contracting processes, FAR, and DFARS regulations. This individual will collaborate closely with various teams to provide expert advice and guidance on contractual matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Manage the full life cycle of contracts, including proposal development, contract review, negotiation, and closeout.
Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to government regulations, company policies, and client requirements when administering contracts and subcontracts.
Contract Negotiation: Conduct thorough negotiations with clients to secure favorable contract terms and conditions.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in contracts and subcontracts and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Proposal Support: Work closely with business development and program management teams to prepare comprehensive proposals and pricing strategies.
Contract Amendments: Draft and process contract amendments to reflect changes and updates.
Contract Closure: Oversee the closure of contracts, ensuring all deliverables are met, final payments are processed, and necessary documentation is complete for audit purposes.
Audit Support: Provide assistance during internal and external audits related to contract administration.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts, modifications, and correspondence.
Partnerships: Establish and maintain partnerships through non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontractor arrangements.
Business Development: Collaborate with the Business Development Director on key proposal functions.
