About the opportunity:


Our North-West Sydney team is looking for a permanent part-time support worker. This opportunity suits individuals who want to provide individualised support in a day program or respite setting. We offer a minimum 4-day/week shift, with weekends and sleepovers. The pay rate is $33.42/hr + superannuation + salary packaging.


Role Requirements:



Experience supporting high-functioning customers to achieve their life skills and work/ study employment goals

Experience in high support needs – manual handling, PEG feeding, medication and personal care.

Challenging behaviour Experience – we have customers with complex health and behavioural concerns.

Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, preferably from +:00 am – 3:00 pm; weekends are a must.


Typical duties might include:



Assist our customers with employment goals, networking with employers and organising work placements.

Devise and facilitate program activities and workshops with customers and other support staff.

Personal care includes bowel care, manual handling using various equipment and aids, and other health and hygiene needs such as feeding, medication, dressing, toileting, and showering.

Supporting customers with intellectual disability, high physical support needs and medical / health needs.

Ability to develop positive relationships with our customers and to support their care plans, including goals


Pre-Employment Requirements:



Valid working rights.

A current Driver's Licence and confidence to drive an accessible van.

NSW Working with Children Check NSW.

NDIS Worker Check

Current First Aid and CPR certificate
