Veolia ANZ has a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Officer to join our team based in Cameron Park 2300. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in facilitating sustainable and commercial supply strategies, ensuring the timely procurement of capital products, goods, and services.

What you'll be responsible for

Coordinate procurement activities, including tendering, evaluations, negotiation, stakeholder approval, contract award, and contract execution
Implement procurement policies and procedures to reduce business risk and ensure best value for money solutions
Manage the tender process, contracts database, and securities database
Provide procurement advice to technical and project staff, and support the development of scopes of work and specifications
Collaborate with the Veolia National Procurement Team to support adherence to Veolia Global contracts
Prepare reports, including procurement and contract status reports, and performance compliance
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and internal teams
Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities
Develop and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement activities
Provide training and support to internal teams on procurement policies and procedures
Participate in audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures
What you'll need to be successful

Relevant Tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience
Proven track record in a similar role
Strong planning and organisational skills
