Your new role
As a Paralegal, you will provide policy advice based on legislation, perform procedural and administrative tasks, and engage with key stakeholders. Your role will involve researching and assessing business system information, managing administrative tasks, and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.
What you'll need to succeed
Paralegal Experience: Demonstrated experience in a paralegal role, including legal research, drafting documents, and case management.
Legal Knowledge: A solid understanding of legal principles, techniques, and practices, particularly within the context of administrative law and regulatory frameworks.
Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including tribunals, lawyers, and case managers.
Organisational Skills: Ability to coordinate competing requests, manage workflow effectively, and meet statutory timeframes.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using computer/software applications, including Microsoft Office and legal business systems.
Policy Advice: Experience of providing policy advice and working within legislative frameworks.
All applicants MUST be Australian citizens and be able to undertake a national security check.
You are required to be working on a full-time basis.
