Hanover Recruitment is looking for a highly skilled Government Digital Project Manager to support the delivery of a Central Government digital project.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing Databricks environments, including integration with CI/CD workflows.
They will also design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
In addition, they will build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
The Government Digital Project Manager will also monitor, troubleshoot and enhance system performance to ensure reliability and scalability.
Collaboration with development and data teams is essential to support seamless data workflows.
Essential Skills:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in DevOps engineering.
Proven expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
Hands-on experience with Databricks, including infrastructure management and pipeline integration.
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
An active SC Clearance is mandatory.
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) are required.
