Senior Mental Health Specialist - Clinical Leadership Role

Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Specialist to join our team in the role of Forensic Consultant Psychiatrist.

As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise in psychiatry to clients of the Forensic Mental Health Team and Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs, Central Australia Region.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical services in psychiatry at the level of Consultant to clients of the Forensic Mental Health Team and Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs, Central Australia Region.
Participate fully in activities of the Northern Territory Medical Program, particularly the teaching of psychiatry to medical students and in the Post Graduate Psychiatry Training Program of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry.
Selection Criteria:

The successful applicant will be selected based on their experience and qualifications. The position may be advertised at either the SC or SSC level depending on the candidate's background.
