Government Affairs Specialist

Join Our Team: Compass Community Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Policy Director to join our team. As a member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping our policy agenda and advancing our mission to end family homelessness.

Salary and Benefits: This position comes with a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $120,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, health insurance, and retirement savings plan.

Key Responsibilities: As our Policy Director, you will coordinate closely with our Director of Strategic Initiatives to develop and implement our policy and systems change strategy. You will also represent our organization to external stakeholders, build relationships with government officials and community leaders, and oversee our work to build grassroots power in San Francisco communities impacted by family homelessness.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of government affairs, politics, and community relations. You will also need excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as experience in government affairs, politics, and community relations.
