ARKO is the sixth largest convenience store operator in the United States, and operates more than 3,800 sites across it’s retail, wholesale, and fleet segments.

Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for reviewing expenses to determine when to apply the Fixed Asset
• Capitalization policy.
• Responsible for classifying newly acquired fixed assets and inputting them into
• the BNA Fixed Asset system for depreciation, tracking and reporting
• Create journal entries for monthly depreciation and necessary re-classification
• Perform disposition procedures for closed sites.
• Ensure the transactions of the business have been properly accounted for and accurately reflected in the financial statements.
• Analyze financial data and use independent judgment for purposes of identifying variances, when possible resolving accounting operating system issues, compiling statistical information and developing procedures to improve current
• processes
• Responsible for general ledger entries, reconciliations and financial reporting in
• accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and practices
• Conform and adhere to internal controls over accounting procedures as set forth
• by upper management

Requirements:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance
• 3+ years of Fixed Asset Accounting and reconciliation experience in a corporate environment
• Thorough understanding of GAAP
• Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to multi-task and complete projects within specific deadlines
• Experience completing detailed accounting schedules
• Ability to handle and reconcile large amounts of detailed transactions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented with excellent time management skill
