About the Role
This is a dynamic opportunity to join our team as a Senior Contract Management Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering successful contract management services across Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement contract management strategies that ensure best value for the state government.
Work closely with stakeholders to develop and maintain strong relationships.
Exercise professional judgement to resolve complex issues related to risk management, commercial performance, and contractor management.
Manage and mitigate risks associated with contract administration and management.
Contribute to a high-performance culture within the department.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A deep understanding of operational costs and a commitment to efficiency.
Strong business and commercial acumen, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent influencing and persuasion abilities.
Proven experience in working with performance-based contracts.
Mandatory qualifications in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
