Java Software Engineer

Now Hiring: 2 x Sr. Java Developer

Location: Remote in India - Inhouse Java developers not recruited or freelance - available full time for a 12 month period.

MUST NOT BE WORKING ON OTHER PROJECTS

Budget is $10 per hour

Experience: 7 to 12 years

Hours: IST 2 PM to 11 PM

Contract: 12 months+ (with potential extension)

Primary Skills: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test solutions using Spring/Spring Boot and AWS services (Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, S3).

Collaborate with business partners and IT teams to ensure high reliability and performance of applications.

Enhance platform capacity and address backlog items.

Create innovative technical solutions for business processes.

Required Competencies:

7+ years in end-to-end Java/J2EE application design.

Proficient in Spring/Spring Boot, XML, Hibernate, JSP, SOAP/REST, Microservices.

Experience with AWS technologies (S3, SQS, EC2, Kubernetes, Docker, Lambda).

Familiarity with Terraform, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (eg, Oracle).

Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.

Desired Competencies:

Experience with CloudTrail and React (a plus).

Knowledge of the mortgage industry is beneficial.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
