Job Overview: The Health and Wellbeing Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining high standards of environmental and public health services through effective inspections, investigations, and community-focused initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting audits of licensed premises and investigating complaints related to environmental and public health matters
Evaluating applications and licenses relevant to the role, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards
Providing expert advice and support to team members, contributing to organisational and departmental goals
Designing and delivering dedicated health programs, including public education initiatives, to promote and enhance community health and wellbeing

About You: To be successful in this role, you will need:
Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health or a related field
Current professional membership or eligibility with Environmental Health Australia (Qld)
A comprehensive knowledge of relevant Acts, Regulations, and Local Laws
Demonstrated conflict resolution and planning skills
