Injury Management Officer, Clerk Grade 5/6, Wollongong

· Attractive salary range of $+3,2+5.00 - $102,+41.00 plus 11.5% super and leave loading

· Location: State Headquarters, Wollongong, NSW



About the opportunity

We have an opportunity for an experienced Injury Management Officer to join the Safety & Wellbeing Team. The role supports both staff and volunteer injury management functions. As a part of this role you will be implementing our injury management program, coordinate the return to work function and workers compensation claim management.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

Hold a current Return to Work Coordinator Certificate in accordance with SIRA requirements.
Be able to demonstrate your working knowledge of the principal 1+87 workers Compensation Act and Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1++8.
Have experience in a Return to Work Coordinator role and have sound knowledge of injury management and rehabilitation principles.
Be proficient in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, internal and external.
Have strong communication, collaboration & consultation skills
Possess the ability to plan, organise & prioritise work to meet the changing needs and work demands of an emergency service organisation
Have demonstrated experience using an injury and claims management system (Solv experience highly regarded).
