Job Summary:
The Surgical Services team at Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Acute Surgical Ward. The ward provides care for adult patients following orthopaedic, urology, gynaecology, ENT or general surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide quality care to patients in the Acute Surgical Ward
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information
Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
Recent acute surgical nursing experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work effectively within a team environment
