The Department of State is seeking a highly skilled Program Analyst to join its team. As a Program Analyst, you will be responsible for managing regional and/or thematic areas with significant funding.
In this role, you will serve as a key member of the Office of Global Programming, working closely with colleagues to achieve the bureau's foreign assistance goals. You will monitor grant activities and relevant programs in assigned regions, ensuring effective implementation of departmental policies.
To succeed in this position, you must have a strong background in program management, including experience with foreign assistance life-cycle management and implementing programming. You should also have expertise in monitoring grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts.
You will work collaboratively with the inter-agency to ensure that departmental foreign policy goals are implemented effectively. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in achieving success in this role.
