High Voltage Electrical Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Power Generation Technician to join our Field Service Power Generation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for the installation, calibration, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of Power Generation systems on Caterpillar (CAT) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Technical support for software and hardware selection, fault diagnosis/rectification, and remote and/or onsite field product support;
Ensuring safety and quality standards are met;
Customer service and support for internal and external clients;
Requirements
'A' Grade Electrical Workers License;
Post-trade experience as an 'A' Grade Electrician, preferably with Power Generation systems and/or products experience;
Ability to possess or acquire an Electrical High Voltage Switching ticket;
Good mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical information quickly;
Knowledge and understanding of relevant Australian and International Standards and legislation;
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
Customer management skills;
Class manual driver's license;
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications;
Technical documentation and administration skills;
Microsoft Office suite skills;
