About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly capable and values-driven Consultant to join our Obstetrics and Gynaecology team at North Metropolitan Health Service. As a Consultant, you will provide specialist tertiary services to patients, promote patient quality and safety, and provide leadership, training, supervision, and education for doctors in training and other health workers.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
A high level of clinical knowledge and expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Leadership and management skills
Ability to educate and train others
Eligibility
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment, you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of your contract.
