AO3 Business Support Officer (Talent Pool)
Do you have a passion for and expertise in Administration? We have an opportunity for AO3 Business Support Officers to join our Team.
TAFE Queensland is proud to be the largest and most experienced Vocational Education and Training provider in the State. For more than 140 years, TAFE Queensland has delivered practical and industry-relevant training to provide students with the skills and experience they need to build lifelong careers.
We are seeking dynamic and innovative Business Support Officers (AO3) to achieve outstanding results as a part of our industry-leading, renowned organisation! This is a wonderful opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise, support our students and educators, and make a real difference.
As a key member of the Education Delivery Support team, you will contribute to developing and delivering quality learning services to a wide range of clients through:
Demonstrating effectiveness in performing tasks of an administrative nature including analysis and problem-solving, task prioritisation, and goal achievement within predetermined deadlines.
Representing the region in all communications with clients by providing continuous and consistent excellence in the delivery of client and administration services.
Acting within position’s delegations to provide issue-ownership and achieve timely resolutions.
Providing accurate and efficient administration support utilising computerised management information systems and software packages.
Updating and maintaining knowledge of the region’s services, products and policies and using this knowledge base to make informed, consistent decisions in the delivery and/or referral of services.
Providing supervision and direction to administrative staff within the work area.
Undertaking research and development on matters relating to business functions.
Ensuring day-to-day activities align with business operations.
Contributing to improvement in business processes and practices.

TAFE Queensland regularly has vacancies (short and long term) for Business Support Officers in the Education Delivery Support team. This talent pool may be open for up to 6 months and is for opportunities as they become available.
