About the Job
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our maternity unit as a Healthcare Team Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with midwives and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean and organized department environment, ensuring efficient functioning, and supporting the healthcare team.

Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:

Maintaining a clean and organized department environment
Assisting midwives and nurses with patient care tasks
Cleaning of delivery rooms, Antenatal/Postnatal rooms, and clinic rooms
Stock reconciliation
Supporting our nurses and other members of the healthcare team
Clerical duties as required

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and have previous experience working in a caring capacity. It would be advantageous to hold a NZQA Level 2 or Level 3 certificate in Health and Wellbeing for Hospitals and Health Sector.
