Job Title: Associate Charge Nurse Manager

Location: Southland Hospital

Hours: 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week)

Salary: $116,040 to $127,674 plus KiwiSaver

About the Role
This is a permanent, part-time opportunity to join the Associate Charge Nurse Manager team in our Medical Ward at Southland Hospital.

As an exceptional Senior Nurse, you will provide operational management and day-to-day clinical leadership across the ward.

You will foster a culture within the unit that strives for excellence in clinical services and focuses on patient-centered care.

About You: We are looking for a Senior Registered Nurse with significant experience who has a current APC.

Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, proven success in nursing leadership, and knowledge of and experience in clinical quality, safety, and best practice.

They will also be competent with Te Ao Māori, Tikanga, and Te Reo Māori or have a commitment to starting their journey and taking ownership of their learning and growth.

Experience in projects/initiatives that give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings, is highly desirable.
