Teaching Assistant for Fashion Program

Job Summary

JD Institute of Fashion Technology is looking for an Assistant Professor in Fashion Department for our Fashion Marketing & Management program. The successful candidate will have a degree in Fashion Design or Masters in Fashion Design, and a minimum of 1+1 year teaching experience plus industry experience.

The role involves planning and teaching lessons, assessing student progress, mentoring students, and providing administrative services. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing and creating content for the syllabus or module, and updating it on the LMS. Additionally, they will participate in design events, co-curricular activities, and annual events, and assist students with placements and internships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach lessons and sequences of lessons within the context of the institute's plans, curriculum, and schemes of work.
• Assess, monitor, record, and report on the learning needs, progress, and achievements of students.
• Mentor students towards the course, curriculum, industry market, and help them achieve their goals.
• Provide administrative services, including keeping track of course details, student submissions, and attendance.
