Staff Accountant

Robert Half is in search of a Staff Accountant for our client located in Pearl, Mississippi. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial information by handling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity where you will be tasked with maintaining accurate financial records and resolving financial inquiries.Responsibilities:• Accurately manage and process Accounts Payable (AP)• Handle and maintain Accounts Receivable (AR) with precision• Perform Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy• Manage General Ledger entries and updates• Prepare and process Journal Entries on a regular basis• Assist in Month End Close activities for accurate financial reporting• Maintain the Depreciation Schedule and update it as necessary• Oversee and manage Fixed Assets within the company
