HGV Driver Class 2

Are you a HGV Class 2 Driver seeking a role with NO WEEKEND working, NO OVERNIGHT stays, REGIONAL/LOCAL work with an opportunity to join us on a 40-45 hour per week contract, MONDAY TO FRIDAY?

Part of Travis Perkins plc, BSS is the UK’s leading distributor of heating, pipeline, process and mechanical services equipment to the building services and industrial sectors and we now seek experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join our team for this great driving opportunity.

What will I be doing?

Our drivers are responsible for moving stock (mainly pipeline and heating products) in a safe and professional manner from our branches to our customers. You will be performing multi drop deliveries, regularly returning back to the branch to reload ready for your next customer. Our larger vehicles are equipped with HIAB’s (lorry mounted crane) and we will fund HIAB training to ensure you’re fully trained up for the job in hand.

Am I right for the job?

Applicants will have a Class 2 driving licence, up to date CPC records and recent HGV driving experience. You’ll be confident in dealing with our customers, building new relationships and developing existing ones. The successful candidate will be safety focussed, ensuring work is completed in a safe and professional manner. Our drivers are passionate about what we do and deliver for our customers.
