The Legal counsel for Chassis Modules Business is integrated in our Legal department, responsible for all legal related affairs in the Region US/MX/CA. The international team delivers expertise and professional service on all aspects of legal matters to support the business development. This global team is a key partner to our business for risk decisions and day to day consultancy.

What you can look forward to as a Legal Counsel- Region NA:
• Provide legal advice to the leadership team
• Advise and support business clients on legal matters to identify and effectively communicate risks and provide excellent solutions-oriented legal advice
• Contract drafting, negotiation and advisory responsibilities ranging from standard contracts to one-off transactions
• Advise on quality issues and related claims
• Lead litigation activities; manage outside counsel and budget
• Provide legal advice on a broad range of general corporate matters
• Support compliance investigations, give training and implement initiatives
• Execute and support various special projects including M&A, real estate, licensing, alliances, etc.
• Efficient partnership and management of external counsel/advisors
Your Profile as a Legal Counsel- Region NA:
• Bachelors degree in Law or relatable field
• 5+ years experience as a Legal counsel in business/ automotive environment
• Solid and in-depth knowledge of legal related environment within multinational companies
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to ensure effective team work on various cross functional projects and initiatives
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial law
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity
• Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information
• Business and solution-oriented mindset
• Outstanding communication skills
