Staff Accountant

We are looking for a diligent Staff Accountant to join our team located in South Bend, Indiana, United States. As a Staff Accountant, you will have the responsibility to handle various financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Bank Reconciliations. Your duties will also involve working with the General Ledger and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities: • Preparation and management of journal entries for precise financial records• Ensuring compliance with GAAP standards while preparing financial reports• Conducting tax-related tasks such as data entry and documentation support• Efficient execution of data entry tasks maintaining accuracy• Management of IT and fixed assets• Handling Accounts Receivable and Payable • Collaborating with team members to enhance administrative processes and workflow efficiency• Managing the General Ledger• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Sage software effectively for financial tasks• Keeping a strong focus on detail and accuracy in all performed work• Maintaining a proactive approach to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
