Budgeting experience is strongly desired as budget creation, tracking and management will be an important aspect of this role
The Property Accountant will also manage the real estate taxes, lease and bank reconciliations
Job description
We have an immediate need for a senior level Property Accountant to join a growing team.

The Property Accountant will manage 30+ properties with full ownership of all GL related functions including journal entries, reconciliations, preparation of the balance sheet and the P&L.

Budgeting experience is strongly desired as budget creation, tracking and management will be an important aspect of this role.

The Property Accountant will also manage the real estate taxes, lease and bank reconciliations.

Previous experience within the real estate industry is desired, however it is not mandatory. A strong GL or GL / Analyst hybrid skill set will work as well.

A strong Excel skill set is required and previous experience with Yardi is a plus.
