Graphic Designer & Permit Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer & Permit Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong graphic design skills and experience with vinyl application, along with the ability to manage the permitting process for signage projects. This role requires proficiency in design software, creativity, attention to detail, and excellent coordination skills to ensure signage projects comply with regulations and meet client expectations. Responsibilities: Graphic Design Duties: Design high-quality signage and visual materials using Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDraw, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flexi SIGN, or Quark Express . Utilize sign making software such as Sign Lab, CAS-Mate, AutoCAD, Inspire, or Graphix Advantage when necessary. Develop creative concepts and layouts for various signage projects. Ensure accurate color matching, typography, and branding alignment. Handle vinyl application and assist in the production of signage when needed. Permit Representative Duties: Review and process permit applications for signage projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation for permits. Communicate with local government agencies to ensure all permits are obtained in a timely manner. Track and update the status of permit applications, proactively resolving any issues. Maintain accurate records of all permit-related activities. Provide excellent customer service , keeping clients informed throughout the permitting process. Qualifications: Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDraw, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flexi SIGN, or Quark Express. Experience with sign making software (Sign Lab, CAS-Mate, AutoCAD, Inspire, Graphix Advantage) is a plus. Strong graphic design and layout skills , including experience with signage and vinyl application. Experience with permit application processes or working with local government agencies is a plus. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the signage industry or working with a sign-making company. Knowledge of zoning laws and permitting regulations related to signage. Familiarity with construction drawings and blueprint reading.
