As a Geriatric Medicine Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive healthcare through acute care, rehabilitation, outpatient services, and community-based programs.

The Older Persons Health Service at Nelson Hospital delivers patient-centred care, focusing on holistic, compassionate, and evidence-based treatment. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to improving the quality of life for older adults, and we are looking for a like-minded individual to join us.
About You
The successful candidate will possess:
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent
Eligibility for an Annual Practising Certificate and vocational scope of Internal Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Passion, patience, and consideration when assessing and treating patients
Competence with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or commitment to starting your journey
