About the Job
We are seeking a Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated nursing team in Ward 10. As a Health Care Assistant, you will work alongside our nurses to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
Assist nursing staff in delivering patient care and performing various tasks as directed.
Work collaboratively with the team to achieve best outcomes for patients and their families.
Participate in a collaborative patient partnership model of care.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
Experience in projects/initiatives that give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly in healthcare settings.
A mature outlook, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly and methodically.
The ability to work in a variety of shifts, including AM and PM rotations on Sundays to Mondays.
