Job Description:
As a Community Midwife, you will be responsible for providing safe, high-quality provision of antenatal and postnatal care for women unable to access a self-employed LMC. You will work closely with the core, community and LMC midwives as part of a team with our Obstetric, Anaesthetic and Paediatric colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide antenatal and postnatal care for women in the hospital and community
Work closely with the community midwifery team and antenatal care team at the hospital
Assess unit care and acute antenatal care
Postnatal care in the hospital and community
Requirements:
NZ registered midwife
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
