Experienced Shopify Developer Required for Remote Role

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Shopify Developer to join our team at 1Source BPO. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Shopify public and custom apps.

About the Role

This role requires a deep understanding of Shopify platform development, API integrations, and web services, along with a strong foundation in database optimization and deployment. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for building high-performing eCommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Shopify App Development: Design, develop, and maintain Shopify public and custom apps, ensuring seamless integration with Shopify's APIs and merchant stores.
• API Integration: Work with Shopify REST and GraphQL APIs, focusing on product, order, and inventory management, to create robust eCommerce workflows.
• Webhooks Management: Implement and manage webhooks to handle Shopify events effectively, ensuring timely notifications and automated actions.
• Theme and Liquid Code Development: Collaborate on Shopify theme and liquid code development for minor customizations, enhancing the overall shopping experience.
• Admin API Utilization: Leverage knowledge of Shopify Admin APIs to streamline eCommerce operations, automate tasks, and improve efficiency.

Extensive Experience With:
• .NET Technologies: ASP.NET MVC, console application development, Windows services development and deployment, IIS Server management, .NET Core frameworks.
• Database Management: SQL Server: Functions, stored procedures, indexing, database design, and performance optimization.
• Shipping Integrations: Providers like FedEx, DHL, Canada Post, etc. Amazon Services: Amazon Event Bus, SQS services, Web APIs. Integration of email marketing platforms like Klaviyo and Ometria.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong command of Shopify APIs and their integration.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify order/product/inventory flows.
• Experience with shipping carrier APIs and integrating eCommerce platforms with shipping providers.
• Knowledge of performance tuning in SQL databases.
