At Inspired Education Australia, we are a private Institute of Higher Education focused on Art Therapy, Early Childhood Education, Counselling, and Psychotherapy. We operate nationally with campuses in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide, as well as Distance Education. Our community comprises around 800 domestic and international students across our 3 Bachelor programs.

The Role
We are seeking dynamic individuals who are passionate about teaching and delivering an enriching learning experience to join our growing Early Childhood Education faculty. As a Lecturer, you will have the opportunity to provide an engaging and exciting learning experience to our students, with primary duties including teaching and assessing students.
You will be responsible for delivering courses within the discipline area and facilitating learning in an engaging and dynamic manner, via on-campus and digital methodologies.
Responsibilities
Deliver courses within the discipline area and facilitate learning in an engaging and dynamic manner
Facilitate student engagement, consultation, and communication of student issues to the Head of Faculty
Develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders to ensure smooth and cohesive delivery of subject content
Engage in weekly subject forums and discussions
Mark student assessments within specific timeframes and to the required standards
Participate in moderation and benchmarking activities as required
Attend faculty meetings and student consultations as required
Requirements
A PhD or a master's qualification in a directly related field of study (Early Childhood Education)
A minimum of 2 years and preferably 5 years or more of practicing experience in a directly related field of study
Teaching or tutoring experience is desirable
Knowledge of higher education requirements and industry standards
Knowledge of contemporary developments in their specific discipline or field, be actively engaged in continuing professional development, scholarship, research, or knowledge of contemporary teaching, learning and assessment relevant to their discipline, role, modes of delivery, and the specific needs of student cohorts
Possession of passion for education
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to undergo a National Crime check, if required
