About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Remote Mental Health Liaison Specialist to join our team in Alice Springs. As a key member of our mental health team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals living in remote communities who are struggling with severe and persistent mental illness.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers to ensure seamless referrals and transitions of care.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in consultation with clients, carers, and other relevant stakeholders.
Conduct regular reviews and updates of care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Relevant qualifications in a field such as psychology, social work, or nursing.
Experience working in a mental health setting, preferably in a remote community.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
