NZ Proud is an award-winning construction company specialising in renovations and home additions. As a Foreman - Carpenter, you will be in charge of supporting all on-site activity of our Wellington projects as well as delivering your own projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting all on-site activity of our Wellington projects

Delivering your own projects
\
Working in tandem with our Project Manager to ensure on-site activity runs smoothly
\
Managing subcontractors/suppliers
\
Quality carpentry craftsmanship
\
Risk management and health & safety
\
Team management
\
Apprentice training
\
Subcontractor/supplier management
\
\
Requirements:

\
\
5+ years experience as a qualified Carpenter
\
Site supervision
\
Renovation construction experience
\
Managing subcontractors/suppliers
\
Qualifications: Must be a Qualified Carpenter (Trade Certificate Carpentry, Level 4)
\
NZ Certificate in Construction Trade/Supervisor level 4 preferred but not essential
\
Skills: Quality carpentry craftsmanship, risk management and health & safety, team management, apprentice training, subcontractor/supplier management
