Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to work with various hand tools and materials. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship are essential.

Duties

Construct and assemble wooden structures, including frameworks, doors, windows, and furniture.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete joinery tasks.
Ensure that all work is plumb, level, and square according to specifications.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including electricians and masons, to ensure seamless project execution.
Perform heavy lifting as required for the movement of materials and equipment.
Carry out repairs and maintenance on existing structures as needed.
Apply finishing touches such as painting or varnishing to enhance the appearance of completed work.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
Requirements

Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to the trade.
Knowledge of electrical work or masonry is advantageous but not mandatory.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality results.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
A valid driver's licence is required for travel between job sites.
