Management Accountant

Your new companyThis fast growing Scottish business are looking for a management accountant to join their busy finance team as part of planned expansion. The role offers hybrid working with 2/3 days in office based in Glasgow City Centre. The organisation can offer flexible working with a varied starting & finishing time over a 37.5 hour working week.Your new role

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, your duties will include;

Finance business partnering for one of the businesses regions
Preparation of accurate and timely monthly consolidated management accounts
Preparation of monthly treasury journals
Monthly review of purchase ledger
Ongoing periodic reporting to senior stakeholders
Supporting with ad-hoc finance projects
What you'll need to succeedThe successful individual will be a qualified accountant or exam finalist studying ACCA/ CA / CIMA. You will possess a high degree of technical accounting and analytical skills along with strong communication skills. You will have the ability to work in a team or on your own effectively. Excellent IT skills, specifically within Excel and Sage is essential.What you'll get in return
