Social & Digital Marketing Assistant – Permanent - Shrewsbury

L & C Consulting are recruiting with of a successful manufacturer in Shrewsbury for a new Digital Marketing Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a real flair and passion for digital and more general marketing to work for a supportive and innovative employer who is looking to grow their staff along with the business. There will be the possibility of a hybrid WFH schedule for the right person.

Sat within a small Marketing Team, duties will include (but not be limited to):

· Maintaining multiple website and ecommerce sites content (creating, proofreading and scheduling etc)

· Driving social media presence through ongoing and ad hoc campaigns and content writing

· Designing promotional digital newsletters / mailshots

· Assisting in the development of an annual product catalogue

· Utilising Google Analytics and market analysis

· Maintaining CRM database

To be considered for this opportunity, you’ll ideally be degree educated (or similar) in Marketing, Digital Marketing or a similar business, related subject. You’ll also have practical experience in a similar role.

You MUST have knowledge and experience of using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office programs (in particular Photoshop & Illustrator). You’ll be versatile and able to adapt quickly in a busy office environment, be able to work as part of a team and have excellent communication skills.

You must be able to work to a high level of accuracy, have a flexible approach, be well organised and able to work to tight deadlines.

The Shrewsbury offices are commutable from Telford, Newport, Market Drayton, Oswestry, Shifnal, Newtown etc
