Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
• Execute month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling bank and general ledger accounts.
• Manage fixed assets, including tracking acquisitions, dispositions, and depreciation schedules.
• Manage monthly reporting and maintain city business licenses, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Assist in preparing for external and internal audits by compiling accurate documentation and addressing inquiries.
• Uphold and enhance internal controls and compliance processes, maintaining the highest ethical standards.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and take on duties aligned with organizational priorities, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate across departments to provide financial insights and support, promoting a team-focused work environment.
• Assists in general accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• A minimum of 4 years of corporate accounting experience
• Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with audit processes and financial reporting compliance.
