The Outage Services Division is seeking an Entry Level Accounting Specialist to support our growing business by providing helpful support to our Finance and Operations teams.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:
• Support the month-end close process.
• Prepare and post journal entries to the General Ledger.
• High level analysis of job costs to assist in bidding process.
• Review employee Concur expenses
• Review invoicing and manage milestone billing.
• Job setup and job reconciliation/closing.
• Review customer POs/ Contracts for invoicing purposes
• Preparing Account reconciliations.
• Make sure all job costs are being accurately applied to jobs
• Serve as the customer liaison for invoice processing issues
• Assist with revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
• Identify risks and areas of improvement in internal processes and controls.
• Initiate continuous improvement processes related to finance
• Manage FR clothing/ SWAG supplied to employees
• Assist VP with travel, Concur, managing schedule, etc.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, master’s degree preferred
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience.
• Strong analytical mindset.
• Strong business skills.
• Self-identifies areas of need and takes initiative.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using an ERP system such as Epicor or SAP.
