Software Architect - PHY / SDR

A Software Architect – SDR is sought by this leading developer of custom ICs to be based at their R+D Centre in Oxfordshire working on a hybrid basis. The Software Architect – SDR will be working on a long fixed term contract responsible for defining and developing PHY Layer DSP based software aimed at emerging communications technologies. The Software Architect - SDR will be working closely with software and hardware teams ensuring a detailed understanding of the physical layer stacks to be implemented.

You will be an experienced Software Architect with a track record of producing PHY layer architectures for communications applications. Your skills will include hands on Layer 1 software development or similar DSP applications aimed at modem, SDR or generic communications products. You should have strong Matlab and C skills and any experience with 3GPP, DVB-S2, 4G/5G or satellite communications standards would be a major benefit.

This is a long fixed term contract position where you will be able to work onsite or in a hybrid role.
