- Experience working in a First Line Support environment
- Excellent IT skills
- Interest in technology
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks and priorities, and be comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders
- Full UK driving license to travel between our sites (at least weekly), which include Abingdon School, Abingdon Prep School, and Tilsley Park
???????????????? Your responsibilities are:
As a 1st Line IT Support Engineer, I will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Foundation IT Service Desk across all sites. My key responsibilities will include:
- Answering user queries via email, phone, or in-person and logging support tickets in the Jira Service Desk
- Resolving issues at the first point of contact whenever possible and escalating more complex issues to the appropriate technical support staff
- Ensuring that all incoming requests are handled promptly and effectively within set SLA, assigning tickets to the appropriate IT/IS staff, and providing regular updates to users on the status of their requests
- Maintaining an accurate inventory of all IT assets within the Abingdon Foundation
- Ensuring that all assets are properly configured, secured, and managed throughout their lifecycle
- Managing the procurement and inventory of IT-related consumables such as toner and other supplies

The salary for this position ranges from £26,+62 to £30,0++ per annum, depending on skills and experience, and it is a full-time, permanent role with working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30.
