Job Description
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field
3+ years of accounting experience in nonprofit grants accounting (e.g. – grants accounting, nonprofit public accounting)
Working knowledge of nonprofit U.S. GAAP
Experience working with federal grants

Responsibilities
Grant Accounting, Reporting, and Operations – +0%
Leads and executes all routine grant accounting tasks, including:
Revenue recognition
Oversee allocations of food costs to grants
Performs grant expenditure reconciliations between ERP grants module and other systems/records
Works with programmatic team members to ensure completeness and accuracy of grant accounting records
Assists the Grants Director with maintaining relationships with external grantors and funders, as required
Assists the Controller and Grants Director with maintenance of ERP grants module
Oversees preparation of all monthly grant invoicing
Works with grants director, development team, and other internal stakeholders to oversee collections of grants/pledges receivable
Works with development department to develop interdepartmental workflows and standardize processes
Assists Grants Director with maintenance of LOE Management System
Oversees monthly reconciliations and recognition of deferred revenue and unbilled receivables
Assists in preparation of required grant reporting
Assists Grants Director in maintenance of grant documentation and related administration
Assist Grants Director with monthly grant expenditure review meetings
Audit Support and Other Tasks – 10%
Assists Controller and Grants Director in responding to internal and external audit requests
Performs other tasks as assigned

Requirements
