About the Role
You will be coaching, mentoring, and growing a team of frontend and backend engineers while developing your coaching capability.

Responsibilities include working alongside the technical lead to solve ambitious technical problems, collaborating with the Product Manager to understand and contribute to the product roadmap, driving the planning and refinement of seasonal goals, and fostering a culture of collaboration.

The ideal candidate has previous experience in technical people leadership and mentorship of engineers, commercial experience in a software development environment, and strong problem-solving skills.

About the Team
The Messaging Surfaces team is responsible for user-facing components and infrastructure, enabling compliant marketing and product lifecycle engagement.

Main Responsibilities:
Managing 4-6 frontend and backend engineers
Improving and evolving foundational pieces for user engagement controls
Working across technical design, code architecture, hiring, engagement with key stakeholders, and the professional growth and development of the people they lead
