Role Overview
Wellington City Council is seeking a skilled Transportation Engineer to play a crucial role in shaping the city's transportation network. As part of our Transport team, you will be responsible for applying your expertise to various transport-related projects and taking a leading role as required.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Applying your transport engineering expertise to various transport-related projects;
Taking a leading role as required;
Collaborating with multiple units, including other transport and city planning teams, on transport-related matters to achieve shared outcomes that contribute to an efficient network for our communities;
Being involved in consultation with the community related to transport engineering schemes;

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Tertiary level engineering qualification in BE (Civil) or NZCE (Civil);
Proven experience in transport engineering or a similar profession;
The ability to put on a customer lens behind every decision and outcome made;
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
