About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle systems accountant to join our team. As a pivotal role in ensuring robust financial data integrity and process efficiency, this position will be responsible for managing and enhancing our Oracle financial systems (Weka). The successful candidate will have strong financial accounting knowledge, particularly within the public sector, and experience leading complex system enhancement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Oracle Integration Solutions: Design, implement, and maintain Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) workflows and EPM Data Exchange processes to ensure seamless data flow and optimise integration performance.
Configure and Maintain Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM Modules: Set up and manage Oracle ERP Financials, Oracle EPM, and Oracle Procurement to optimise system configurations and integration patterns.
Develop, Test, and Deploy BI Reports: Design and build BI reports using Oracle BI tools to ensure accuracy and reliability of data through thorough testing.
Collaborate with Finance and IST Teams: Gather system requirements and understand business processes to facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ensure Data Accuracy and Integrity: Monitor and maintain financial data accuracy by implementing data validation and reconciliation processes.
Provide Training and Support to End-Users: Conduct training sessions and create user guides to offer ongoing support and gather user feedback for improvements.
Troubleshoot and Resolve System Issues: Identify and resolve technical issues related to Oracle financial systems and BI reports by working with Oracle support and external vendors as needed.
Participate in System Upgrades, Patches, and Enhancements: Stay informed about new Oracle releases and updates, plan, and execute system upgrades and patches, and document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
