Senior Finance Operations Officer

Key Responsibilities:
Manage complex aspects of finance operations-related functions
Ensure accuracy, validity, and timeliness of payments, allocation of receipts, and review of vendor and customer accounts
Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors
Administer the Purchasing Card & Cash Expense function in line with company policy and procedures
Manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections
Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
Complete month end and year end accounting tasks in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure tax compliance for suppliers and claimants
Review work completed by team members for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to policies
Requirements:
Extensive experience in finance operations
Proficient with numerical data
Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and practices
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Interpersonal skills with ability to relate to a wide range of people
Look for continuous improvement opportunities in particular use of technology to automate processes
Analytical skills with ability to analyse data to gain insights
Self-management including the ability to manage own time
