Job Description
The company seeks a skilled Backend Systems Engineer with expertise in Go to join our development team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will design and develop current systems to increase functionality and usability.

Responsibilities include:

Designing and developing scalable systems
Working closely with the software engineering team to build features and improvements from conceptualisation to realisation
Taking operational responsibility for services and code base
Required Skills and Qualifications
3-5+ years experience building REST APIs with Golang
Experience developing microservices infrastructure is ideal
Familiarity with Docker, Postman, GitLab, and AWS is favourable
BS degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
Experience working with modern infrastructure and tools
Knowledge of sound engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensive programming, and automated testing
