Job Title: Senior Taxation Accountant
Classification: ANU Officer 8 (Administration)

Salary package: $115,511 - $123,51+ per annum plus 17% superannuation

Terms: Full time, Fixed Term (up to 18 months)

The Senior Taxation Accountant is responsible for delivering timely and effective GST, FBT, and other taxation related reporting services to the University's Colleges and Portfolio business units.

This position collaborates with Financial Planning & Analysis and Corporate Finance & Financial Reporting teams to lead financial processes, strategies, and initiatives across the University.

About the Role
The Australian National University has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated finance professional to work within the Finance and Business Services Division (F&BS).

F&BS supports the University's strategic and operational goals through corporate financial management and administration, reporting, and business services.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality taxation related reporting services to the University's Colleges and Portfolio business units.
Collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis and Corporate Finance & Financial Reporting teams to develop and implement financial processes and strategies.
Lead initiatives that improve financial performance and efficiency across the University.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

Relevant tertiary qualifications (CA, CPA) and experience in providing taxation services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
